Waldoboro, Maine - Waltz Pharmacy presented, John Murray, Medomak Valley Community Foundation, with a $1,000 donation to the Foundation's Kevin Murray Memorial Foundation.
The Kevin Murray Memorial Fund, established in 2006, provides donations to help children obtain the equipment, supplies or scholarships they need to enjoy the youth recreational activity of their choice. The Medomak Valley Community Foundation manages the Fund.
In accepting the donation, John Murray, Board Member of the Community Foundation stated, "I thank the staff of Waltz Pharmacy for their generous donation. Through their support, the Community Foundation can help a significant number of the children pursue their recreational dreams. This is evidence of the contributions our business community makes to enhance the quality of life in Waldoboro and the surrounding communities.
The Medomak Valley Community Foundation is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit corporation and registered Maine Charity.
