Construction Update

Week 13 - September 21-26, 2008

The weather has truly tested the new drainage system on the fields. In one way that is good, but it always seems to come after the contractor has hydro-seeded.

However, the result is what we want, plenty of moisture for the new grass. This week you will notice the “greening” of the area.

We begin at the Miller School corner of the site. We are looking toward the Miller School playground.

Turning to the left, we look toward the Babe Ruth Field parking apron, the bus turn-around and the large GUSF.

When we turn again, this is our view back toward the Little League field and parking area. The variety of trees on the site will provide a sound and light barrier, and enhance the rural feel of the site.

As we move down the road toward the Little League field this is a view of the Babe Ruth field outfield area.

As we move further down the road, this is the view looking back toward the Babe Ruth Field and the shared outfields.

We complete our tour at the entrance to the site. This is the view of the Little League Field GUSF and stonewall. The dark area at the bottom right of the photograph is the newly hydro-seeded area.
